Healthy Senior Living

Planned Activities for Senior Living

Our regularly scheduled recreational fun puts the “living” back in “assisted senior living!” Paradise Living Centers’ Care Manager plans quarterly outings designed to meet the different needs and capabilities of our residents. Our Activities Director organizes weekly group activities that range from playing cards to arranging flowers. She also schedules regular mental and physical exercises to stimulate our residents’ minds and bodies. In addition, we host two family events at the house every quarter.

Chef Prepared Meals

Our on-staff chef provides fresh, delicious and nutritional meals and snacks daily. Residents will wake up to enjoy a healthy breakfast, the main meal is typically enjoyed midday and a light dinner and snacks are prepared and served for afternoon and evening. With only 10 residents in each of our care homes, and a ratio of one to five, we quickly become familiar with each resident’s favorite foods and nutritional and dietary needs.

Pet Therapy

Paradise Living Centers schedules regular visits from four-legged therapists; many of our residents look forward to spending quality time with man’s best friend.

Intergenerational Program

To provide the best in healthy living at Paradise Living Centers, we take a comprehensive holistic approach. Our Intergenerational Program is made possible through a partnership created with Scottsdale Early Learning Center, which allows us to coordinate activities that benefit both the children and our residents. We plan engaging and interactive activities that help the children grow and interact with residents, bringing joy to all of those involved.

Entertainment

We have a large comfortable areas in our homes for entertainment and socializing. This allows residents space to gather to play games, read, visit with friends and family, and watch television. Evenings and weekends are a favorite time for special movie nights, popcorn included. Each resident can also have a TV with cable access in his or her room.
